Frozen Logs and Sprinklers

We had quite a drop in the temperature yesterday and a little snow also. The high temperature in some of the northern cities was in the low 20s. They always keep the sprinklers running on the stacks of cut logs to keep them wet so they are easier to mill. The water from the sprinklers is frozen into a "fan" shape on the top of the rows of logs. In some of the 'close ups' you see them better. These stacks are in Weed at the Roseburg Mill. You can also see one of the huge log movers in the lot. It carries about a truckload of logs at one time.

I have a feeling just about everything is frozen in CA today.
