"Cloud Cape"

We had a little rain and some fresh snow over the weekend but some clear skies this morning. This cloud "cape" over Mount Shasta looks like the beginning of a lenticular cloud formation.
Lenticular clouds, technically known as altocumulus standing lenticularis, are stationary lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes, normally aligned at right-angles to the wind direction.
