More heat for the fire fighters

Now our weather is beginning to heat up even more which is very hard on people and especially our firefighters.

the national weather warning:

THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SACRAMENTO HAS ISSUED AN
EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO
5 PM PDT THURSDAY FOR THE NORTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND
SURROUNDING FOOTHILLS ALONG WITH THE MOTHERLODE AND THE COASTAL
RANGE INCLUDING LAKE COUNTY.

NEAR RECORD TO RECORD TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THURSDAY.
HIGH TEMPERATURES THROUGH THURSDAY ARE FORECAST TO REACH BETWEEN
110 AND 116 DEGREES IN THE NORTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND SHASTA
LAKE AREA WITH UPPER 90S TO 110 IN THE FOOTHILLS AND ELEVATIONS
BELOW 5000 FEET. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN VERY WARM
IN THE UPPER 70S TO 80S TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. A GRADUAL
COOLING TREND IS EXPECTED FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND AS HIGH PRESSURE
OVER THE AREA WEAKENS.

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING MEANS THAT A PROLONGED PERIOD OF
DANGEROUSLY HOT TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR. DRINK PLENTY OF
NON ALCOHOLIC FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM...STAY OUT
OF THE SUN... AND CHECK UP ON RELATIVES AND NEIGHBORS...ESPECIALLY
THE ELDERLY.
