Some Interesting Sights.

My route yesterday took me from Redding to Tulelake with stops in Dorris and Lake Shastina and Weed along the way. The flag pole in Dorris is 200 feet tall, the tallest this side of the Mississippi, so obviously the flag is huge, and on a clear windy day they say you can see it 10 miles away.

Mount Shasta is losing almost all of its snow now, even on the cooler North side. This picture is from highway 97 coming back towards Weed from Macdoel.

Lots of Pelicans sunning themselves today in the Wildlife Refuge near Tulelake.
As always, click the images for larger pictures.
